Accounting Manager | Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial management, and compliance. This role involves supervising the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Reporting:
    • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
    • Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls:
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
    • Implement and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
    • Ensure tax compliance, including sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax filings.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting team.
    • Provide guidance on accounting best practices and process improvements.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement & System Management:
    • Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting workflows and financial systems.
    • Assist in system upgrades or ERP implementations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [Industry-Specific Experience, e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare].
  • Knowledge of tax laws and compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems and automation tools.

Warehouse Fabrication Associate | Cincinnati, Ohio

Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Fabrication Associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
  • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.
  • Implements daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
  • Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
  • Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
  • Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product.
  • Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas.
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Operates forklift truck as needed.
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck required.
  • At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Physical ability to move around on their feet for the entire duration of their shift.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures and distractions.

Warehouse/Backup Driver | Wayne, Michigan

Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

Job Summary:

The Warehouse/Backup Driver will be responsible for assisting with warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as serving as a backup driver for deliveries when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receives, unloads, and stores incoming materials in designated storage areas.
  • Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (e.g., loading trucks, picking orders).
  • Performs inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keeps a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.
  • Operates and maintains warehouse vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assists in the organization and maintenance of warehouse facilities.
  • Serves as a backup driver for deliveries when the primary driver is unavailable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills & Abilities:       

  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • 1+ year of proven work experience as a warehouse worker and backup driver.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
