CEILING GRID SOLUTIONS
Ceiling grid solutions are leveraged by architects and engineers across diverse projects, including data centers, manufacturing plants, universities, and casinos. These solutions transform otherwise unusable interstitial spaces into a universal support system. With their broad range of applications, Unistrut Midwest structural ceiling grids are adaptable to nearly any environment and are varied enough to meet the demands of many industries.
Wide-Ranging Utility
Whether you need to support 2 lbs. per square foot or 100 lbs., Unistrut Midwest’s ceiling grid solutions provide endless versatility to meet your project requirements. Structural ceiling grids can support electrical and mechanical services, acoustical ceilings, catwalks, decorative panels, cable and fiber trays, lighting, medical equipment, and more. Based on your specifications for grid size, pattern, spacing, and design load, our team can design and recommend a tailored solution that works perfectly for your needs.
Built for Long-Term Adaptability
By leveraging Unistrut metal framing products, Unistrut Midwest ceiling grid solutions build upon the advantages of the Unistrut system. Designed with bolted connections, these ceiling grids eliminate the need for welding, increasing the speed and safety of installation. The continuous slot in the Unistrut channel allows for a connection at any pointl, enabling the creation of grids in any configuration. This flexibility allows the end user to easily move or add to the system for future requirements or expansion.
Ceiling Grid Services
Design + Engineering
Unistrut Midwest ceiling grid solutions can be found in commercial, industrial, or retail applications, all of which have their own unique requirements. Whether you need to aesthetically match existing conditions, customize connections, or support additional weight, our team has the expertise and product knowledge to design and engineer a solution for your project.
Installation
Our professional crews have installed grids ranging from 200 square feet to over 150,000 square feet. With prefabricated and labeled components arriving on site, the installation crew is able to fully complete installation in hours instead of days. If your project is outside of our normal service area, we can connect you with a trusted subcontractor in your area and provide you with a professional, trained Unistrut crew to install your ceiling grid system.
Prefabrication
Unistrut Midwest offers many prefabrication solutions in order to reduce on site man hours, project costs, and waste. Our prefabricated solutions reduce the number of man hours by simplifying the installation process for the field crews. Activities like cutting channel to size, pre-assembling fittings, and building repeatable components are accomplished in our warehouse at ergonomically adjustable workstations before arriving on site. Prefabrication reduces on-site work and eliminates much of the waste associated with constructing ceiling grids with stock materials on site.
