Insulated Metal Panels (IMPs) are the building material of choice for food processing locations because their flat surface and airtight joints help maintain temperatures and sanitation levels. The Spanware® IMP Anchor system is designed specifically for attaching Unistrut Food Grade Strut to IMP walls and ceilings.
Spanware® IMP Anchors offer high load ratings, a food-grade sanitary design, an an excellent air- and vapor-tight seal.
Unistrut Food Grade Strut® Products
Unistrut’s Food Grade Strut® system is a stainless steel product line specifically designed for sanitary food processing applications. It is widely used throughout the food processing industry to mount sanitary dairy tubing, schedule pipe, rigid conduit, EMT, Ocal, copper pipe, and more, to walls, ceilings, existing structures, and machinery.
Beyond food processing, Food Grade Strut® applications are also ideal for pharmaceutical and other cleanroom applications.
The Food Grade Strut® system includes a series of stainless steel trapeze or wall mount struts, stainless hanging rods, u-bolts, and brackets designed specifically for sanitary applications.
Food Grade Wall Mount Strut
Food grade wall mount strut, used for mounting pipe or conduit on any vertical surface, comes in standard 12-inch, 24-inch, 36-inch, or 120-inch sections. To meet sanitary requirements, support channels do not have the in-turned lips that are found on typical Unistrut channel.
Food Grade Trapeze Mount Strut
Food grade trapeze mount strut is used when running pipes or conduit in horizontal applications and comes in the standard 12-inch, 24-inch, 36-inch, 48-inch, and 120-inch sections. To meet sanitary requirements, support channels do not have the in-turned lips that are found on typical Unistrut channel.
Food Grade Strut Accessories
The Food Grade Strut® System has its own line of sanitary accessories that allow multiple connections to the building structure while maintaining the sanitation requirements. All accessories are 304 stainless steel and were designed to meet food processing standards. Rod hangers have internal threads to prevent bacteria growth, spacers allow the support to stand off the wall for easy visual inspection and cleaning, etc.
