Bringing a New Level of Service to Customers with NEFCO

Since joining the NEFCO network of companies, our team at Unistrut Midwest has been working hard to not only introduce NEFCO's offerings to our customers but also to showcase what Unistrut Midwest delivers to the NEFCO team. By bringing our respective expertise to new markets, we are working together to bring even more value to Unistrut Midwest and NEFCO customers.   

Providing Greater Access to New and Existing Products 

NEFCO is a specialty construction supply company providing products and services to professional contractors. With a wide-ranging inventory of strut channel and fittings, hardware and fasteners, concrete anchors, threaded rod, and pipe hangers, NEFCO offers just about everything that contractors need on the job site. Unistrut Midwest can now function as a one-stop shop instead of our customers having to source from multiple vendors.  

One of the benefits of joining the NEFCO network that we are most excited about is our access to NEFCO's 70+ locations across the country. With their extensive inventory and quick turnaround times, these locations have allowed us to ship to clients in 48 hours or less, helping to keep projects on track.  

For example, we had a recent customer who urgently needed some basic strut items. Located in Texas, shipping to this client from our Ohio warehouse would have either taken longer than they needed or required a large fee in order to rush the delivery. Instead, the Austin NEFCO warehouse was able to get the required products to the customer the next day, allowing the project to stay on schedule. With so much of today's construction success relying on expedited timelines, this is a huge benefit to our customers.  

Introducing Unistrut Midwest's Value-Added Services to a New Market 

Of course, Unistrut Midwest joining NEFCO was a mutually beneficial partnership. Not only do Unistrut Midwest customers now have access to a more expansive inventory and network, but NEFCO was able to nearly triple their value-added service capabilities with our help. NEFCO was already supplying Unistrut, but they did not provide the design, engineering, prefabrication, and kitting services that our team specializes in.  

As construction supply distributors, the NEFCO team already has relationships with the contractors who require custom-engineered Unistrut solutions, but those contractors previously had to rely on an outside source for those designs. As we move forward as one team, NEFCO and Unistrut Midwest customers will be receive an even higher level and wider breadth of service than they have in the past. We're just getting started on bringing our respective benefits to new markets.
