Unipier Rooftop Supports Specifications
Duct and Cable Tray Supports
An “H” frame constructed of Unistrut and 8-H Base P bases are used to support ductwork or cable trays on flat roofs. The unique design allows a sturdy support without penetrating or causing damage to the roof membrane. Weight distribution is engineered to 2 PSI. All Unipier bases carry a 20 Year Warranty.
Water and Steam Line Supports
A Unistrut goal post type frame is constructed in combination with Unipier bases and clevis hangers to support water or steam lines on a flat roof. The supports are engineered on a project-by-project basis and provide a weight distribution of 2 PSI. The supports are designed with clevis hangers or pipe rollers to account for the thermal expansion and contraction found in water/steam piping.
Conduit Supports
A Unipier base with Unistrut channel can easily be used to support roof-mounted electrical conduit, solar piping, cable tray, or other light-duty services. The supports are available with Unistrut from 12″ to 24″ in length. The heights can be fixed or adjustable with an overall range of 2.5″ to 18″. Conduit supports can be spaced 10 feet on center, depending on the load. The capacity of the conduit supports varies from 115 lbs to 640 lbs.
RSS4 Sleeper Supports
The Unipier rooftop sleeper, RSS4, is the first rooftop support that is white to reflect the sun’s UV rays. It is cost-effective, lightweight, and can be cut to length on the job site. The RSS4 weighs only 4 lbs per 4-foot length. The minimum size for an RSS4 section is 6″, with the max loading on a 6″ section at 50 lbs.
