Recently, Unistrut Midwest was tasked with a large scale Data Center project in Westland, MI.  Our customer needed a Ceiling Grid and Unistrut overhead support structure to facilitate Bus Duct and Cable Trays installed in a massive server room.  

This project became a 3-phase plan over the course of about 6 months.  All the materials were stored in our warehouse location in Wayne, MI.  Our pre-fabrication teams in both Michigan and Cincinnati assembled the Unistrut frames in small sections and prepared them for shipment to the job site.  Once the pre-fabricated frames arrived at the data center, installation teams were able to install them quickly and efficiently, saving the contractor time and money.  

Because of the complexity of the installation, our team was able to design and pre-fabricate a support structure that could be easily installed around lighting fixtures and duct work previously hanging from the ceiling.  Since Unistrut is a universal product, this gives the installation crew several options to solve any problems that might arise.
