Get to Know Sikla siFramo Accessories
May 5, 2026
The Sikla siFramo system has disrupted the structural steel industry, bringing the flexibility of a modular system and the strength of welded steel together into a modular structural steel system. While the system is famous for requiring only a single fastener for the entire system, there is a wide variety of accessories in the Sikla siFramo line that, when used together, create custom support structures for nearly any application.
Sikla Self-Forming Screw
The MVP of Sikla accessories is the self-forming screw. This fastener creates its own thread inside the wall of the siFramo pilot hole, hardening the base steel to form an air-tight seal that is exceptionally resistant to vibrational loosening and increasing fastening strength. Screws can be loosened and reused for quick on-site adjustments.
Using one type of screw for all connections is a huge time saver for construction, increasing productivity on a build. Requiring only a few people and hand tools, no welding capabilities or hot works permits, a Sikla build can be completed in a matter of hours.
Attachment Accessories
U Bolt Fastenings
This fastener connects standard U-bolts that are required for pipework to beam sections, cantilever brackets, and beam brackets.
Mounting Plates
Mounting plates are used to connect threaded bar and threaded tube to Sikla siFramo beam sections. There is also a mounting plate for installing pipe clamps and beam sections via threaded tube or thread connection.
End Caps
In order to meet both visual and health requirements, beam sections cannot be left raw. These plastic end caps close the cut ends of beam sections, creating a professional finish. Standard cantilever and beam brackets already include these end caps.
Locking Nuts
When using Sikla threaded tubes and thread connectors, such as those mounted in slide sets, locking nuts help form secure connections.
Threaded Tubes
To be used as a direct connection element between mounting plates and pipe clamps, or for angular supports with a support rod and socket angle, or universal joint.
Welded End-Plate Beams
Cantilever Brackets
Galvanized hollow-box sections with welded end plates that serve as cantilever arms. These brackets can also be used as a crossbar when combined with the appropriate end supports.
Beam Brackets
Mount Sikla siFramo beam sections to walls, floors, and ceilings with these brackets. They can also be used to form a crossbar when combined with the appropriate connecting elements.
Bracing Arms
Reinforce Sikla siFramo beam section frames with this bracing arm.
Section Connectors
Joint Brackets
These flexible connecting elements are used as bracing elements to reinforce cross members of Sikla siFramo beam frame.
Pivot Joints
When used in conjunction with the appropriate beam sections, pivot joints form bracing elements for single-arm cantilevers and can also work as knee-brace reinforcement for all frame constructions. The pivot can be installed with angles from 25° to 155°.
End Supports
Create an endplate at the open end of a beam section or cantilever bracket with these plug-in components. Some variations can be used to construct crossbars, connect directly to anchor channel or wall fixings, or generate a 45° bracing element.
Channel Adapters
These accessories are crucial when designing solutions that leverage both Sikla siFramo and Unistrut. Channel adapters allow for stiff and solid connections between the siFramo profile and Unistrut channel to create custom support solutions.
Couplings
Couplings come in square and octagonal variations to serve as internal splice connecting elements for siFramo beam sections, particularly for vertical extension.
Beam Section Holders
These are interface elements to connect 90° intersecting beam sections. They can also be used to connect one beam section to an even surface with suitable wall anchors or channel accessories.
U-Holders
U-holders are used to connect Sikla siFramo beam sections to structural steel, either as crossbars, cantilevers to steel beams, or to the flange side of traditional steel sections.
Corner Brackets
This bracket can be used when the structural design requires an alternative to a standard end support bracket. Connections with corner brackets allow flexible construction, with the central hole providing opportunities for diagonal cross-bracing.
Footplates to Concrete and Steel
End Supports
These plug-in components are designed to create a square end plate at the open end of a Sikla siFramo beam section or bracket. Some variations allow for full utilization of the beam section within the space required by the end support itself.
Joining Plates
Permits the connection of Beam Bracket TKO F 80 to flange widths greater than 4 3 /4" (120 mm).
Welding Plates and Adapters
These accessories allow for connection between Sikla siFramo and structural steel when clamping is not an option. Some variations also allow for a welded connection between beam sections and load chains, spring hangers, etc.
Rod Hangers
Rod Hanger Connections

These connecting components allow for the direct attachment of rod hanger assemblies to beam sections of various flange widths and other components of the siFramo system.
Rod Hanger Load Chain Assemblies
The Rod Hanger Load Chain Assembly group connects components in the load chain with their counterparts, such as lugs, eye-plates, and Pipe Clamp Stabil Form C LK.
Pipe Clamps
This pipe clamp can be used as a pendulum suspension or as part of a rod hanger for standard industrial pipe supports.
These accessories, leveraged with Sikla siFramo beams, can create custom support solutions for nearly any application when designed by an experienced partner. The Unistrut Midwest team has years of Sikla engineering experience and can help create the perfect solution for your project.
