Bringing Unistrut Midwest to a New Market

Bringing Unistrut Midwest to a New Market

Posted by Scott Waage on June 25, 2025

With 35 years of experience in the Unistrut world, there aren't many challenges that I haven't seen and solved. One new challenge for me, however, has been expanding Unistrut Midwest’s presence into the Northeast at the New Jersey location. I've spent my career working with Unistrut in this region, and I am excited to bring Unistrut Midwest's expertise to a new market.

In many respects, since joining the Unistrut Midwest network, my team and I have continued to do what we do best: whatever it takes to achieve or exceed our clients' expectations. This comes through building on new and existing relationships in the area, assisting clients with engineering solutions, and supporting our team in the field. In essence, we have leaned into the Unistrut Midwest core value of Customer First to help increase our visibility and availability in this market.

Customer First means that we are here for our customers first and foremost. In order to meet that value, our team takes on multifaceted roles. From getting on bid lists and reviewing project drawings to competitively quoting and driving safety awareness, our team knows what goes into a Unistrut project from start to finish. This knowledge and experience helps us bring the customer satisfaction that Unistrut Midwest is known for to a new audience.

Unistrut New Jersey's Experience and Expertise

Joining the Unistrut Midwest team has allowed our location to create a space that is truly "us" by giving us the opportunity to focus on cultivating creativity and innovation, and supporting our unwavering commitment to the customer.

Unistrut New Jersey focuses on engineering and installation services, particularly in the Healthcare, Tech, and Complex Commercial markets. Our team has decades of experience in these industries, and we have the specialized contractors to support these fields.

One of the common challenges facing most companies today is a labor shortage, especially in our region, where unionized labor is often required. We have a unionized installation team in-house that can meet the demand for union labor on large projects without having to hire out to subcontractors. This not only allows us to easily meet the labor demands in our region, but working with a unionized team allows us to both retain and further develop key labor team members.

Unistrut Midwest's New Jersey location has been open for nearly two years, and we are thrilled to be a part of this team. Bringing the Unistrut Midwest experience to a new market has given us the chance to assist new customers, tackle new challenges, and bring the Unistrut Midwest customer experience to even more people.
